​We rescue dogs who are abused, hurt, and stranded. They stay at August's Home until healed—ready tbea loyal companion, a protector, a savior—an August for someone in need.

Our organization stands for compassion, resilience, and hope—rescuing the hurt and giving them a chance to heal, love, and live again.

​August's Angels Home is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to combating domestic violence and animal cruelty. Inspired by my beloved Doberman, August, whose love and sacrifice continue to inspire our work, we rescue hurt dogs and advocate for women and children living in silence and fear.
